Gohlis is located north of the city centre and is a residential area characterised by Wilhelminian style streets and Art Nouveau villas. The neighbourhood has an unmistakable middle-class character and is certainly one of the nicest residential areas in Leipzig and is particularly popular with families with children. During a walk, you can marvel at numerous magnificent villas from the Wilhelminian period. Not far from the Gohliser Schlösschen is the idyllic historic park Rosenthal.
