I reached out to HC24 Leipzig to help find an apartment for my son who was visiting Germany from the US for a summer internship. My experience with HC24 was excellent and they made the whole process very smooth. They were very professional, prompt in all of their responses, very helpful with any questions I had about the city/apartment, getting renters insurance, transportation, etc. I was new to the city and they made the entire experience seamless. I truly appreciate the support they provided and would highly recommended HC24 for anyone looking for temporary housing in Leipzig! Thank you again Petra and Anja, you both were great!

Hc24 helped me find a flat in Leipzig, within my budget , really quick. The process was smoothly and it didn't take long. They explained everything to me. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures and good connections with the City centre (6/10 minutes by train, 20 minutes by S-bahn and Straßenbahn). Anja, Tina and Petra were really helpful and professional.

Highly recommended :) I needed an apartment for a 3-month stay and was worried about the bureaucracy involved. However, the real estate agency helped me with everything, and I always felt very secure (which is so appreciated when renting abroad). The apartment was amazing, super well-equipped, and the landlords were wonderful 😍 I'm truly delighted. If I ever rent in Germany again, I won't hesitate to contact HC24.

When handing the apartment agent is polite and nice, and says that everything is checked and allright, of course, If you don't speak German all you can do is trust, because all documents are in German. When getting back the apartment, suddenly yiy get accused of taking stuff and making damages, that were already there. But you now "in her documents it's written that it was a smaller spot than now". And they have no photos of the property when handling it to you. The cherry on top was the tenant bill for water overuse - 500€. If anyone interested how much water I used - it was 55cubes per 14 months. So I payd 9€ per cube additionally plius what I payd average month before. They say that it's like hotel, but hell nowhere on earth I was treated this way while renting apartment, hotel or whatever. Remember that water in Leipcig is golden. Terrible service and Teribble agent. I answer here, because I don't find any reply button. Yes, you're absolutely right, your agent realy did the check, when I moved in, it took her 10 minutes to mark that everything I good. She even marked that the stuff that was never there was somehow there. Anyways as you said you know the situation. I asked agent to show photos of the apartment when I moved in, because writing can be a very creative process, and if you accused person of ruining something, at least you should have a prove. Do it progessionally, especially If all the documents are only in German, and as you said, you rent a lot for foreigners. About the water - when I moved in your agent said and I quate - "with the money you pay you can take three showers a day" as a joke. She never mentioned About the water overuse in the contract, that is in German of course. And if 4 cube per month is overuse than I don't know, you believe that person will shower once a week? It is absolutely amazing how they counted how much water I overused - they send me a bill with the amount of how much water was used previous years. In 2023 it was 21cubes. So they just counted how much my water costed more than In ear 20w3 and took it from deposit. Why they didn't count it based on how much water was used in year 2022 that was 29,39 and why while I stayed for 14 months it was compared to water use in 12 months I have absolutely no clue. Yes, I told in the email for the owners that it's okay, because I just wanted to have no more business and as you know the last business was to get back the deposit. I will for sure not go to the court because of 500€. The last point was that somehow the final cleaning fee was 210, instead of 120 that was in the contract. Yes the owners send me the bill showing additionall cost for cleaning kitchen, Windows and sofa, but I signed contract for 120€ cleaning fee, and if their company is charging them for anything more than mopping the floor, it shouldnt be my problem. After all it's not a complain. It's a review and message to all the other non German speaking people to be aware. There is nothing to do now and I just wrote a review when I finally had time for it. You know when your agent kneeled on all four to check how the toilet looks form behind it was already quite funny. She for sure didn't do that when she rented the apartment. So to anyone who is willing to rent apartment from them, just keep in mind, that you MUST take photos of all the apartment, even behind the toilet, when the apartment is handed to you, because even if you do all your best to keep apartment in a good shape, you may be accused of ruining something. I got accused of damaging the sofa, that was covered with mattress from the moment I moved in until I moved out. Somehow the mattress stayed clean, but sofa got dirty. Magic happens and I had to pay additional cleaning costs for that magic. Keep mind thay inal cleaning fee doesn't include windows and kitchen. Anyways, just be prepared to pay for whatever comes and that's it. Good luck to everyone.

I have moved to one of the HC24 Apartments in Leipzig last month, and so far there is nothing I could complain about. The apartment looks exactly as shown on the webpage. The whole process went very smoothly. I can recommend the service to anyone who is looking for some comfortable housing solution for the first months after moving in to a new city. Having the apartment completely furnished with absolutely everything made things super easy for me. In exchange for all that, the rental price is obviously a little above the market value, but it's not that significant.

It was satisfying to work with Ms. Franke. The service was very satisfactory, too if the price was a bit high. He helped us significantly in finding suitable accommodation in Leipzig.

Temporary living in Leipzig: Rent a furnished apartment in Leipzig

This means you can enjoy more comfort and maximum flexibility when living in Leipzig on a temporary basis - a plus, especially for mobile workers, expats, students and the like. Short-term rental in Leipzig: How does temporary living in Leipzig work?

Temporary living in Leipzig is based on a simple concept: when you sign the rental agreement, you specify exactly when you want to rent the apartment in Leipzig until. The tenancy ends automatically when the agreed date is reached. You do not have to observe a notice period or look for a new tenant. What's more, all apartments that you can rent from us in Leipzig are fully furnished. This means that you only have to move in with your personal belongings - the sofa, kitchen etc. are already waiting for you in the apartment. Last but not least: you pay a fixed monthly flat rate including service charges. More transparency is not possible.

Better than interim renting in Leipzig: What are the advantages of short-term renting in Leipzig?

The concept of temporary living is nothing new in Leipzig. And the demand for temporary rental apartments in Leipzig is increasing. There are several reasons for this: Due to the increased shortage of available living space, people who want to stay in Leipzig for a limited period of time in particular are increasingly finding themselves excluded from the traditional real estate market. Temporary living offers some clear advantages here.

In contrast to an interim rental in Leipzig, a legally binding rental agreement is concluded between the renting party and the letting party. The conditions are clearly regulated so that landlords and tenants can be on the safe side. This is by no means always the case with the subletting contracts often used for Leipzig student apartments. In addition to security, temporary living also offers great flexibility: mobile workers, who are only ever based in a city for limited periods of time, benefit significantly from the shorter rental period and the absence of notice periods.

Another advantage of modern living in Leipzig is that all the properties we offer are fully furnished. This means you don't have to hire a removal company or lug heavy furniture around to feel at home in Leipzig. Thanks to the large number of rental apartments in Leipzig, you can also choose between different levels and styles of furnishings. Another practical feature is that the apartments you can rent from us in Leipzig are spread across different parts of the city. This means you can quickly feel like a local and benefit from short distances and optimal infrastructure.

The advantages of temporary living in Leipzig:

  • -large selection of reputable rental apartments
  • -flexible short-term rental with a fixed start/end point
  • -transparent monthly costs as an all-inclusive price
  • -legally secure conclusion of a rental contract directly with the landlord
  • -complete furnishing in tested condition
  • -Central locations in Leipzig
  • -Apartments with 1, 2 or more rooms
  • -many extras and services

Temporary apartments in Leipzig: Who are furnished apartments in Leipzig suitable for?

The number of mobile workers in Germany has been rising steadily for years. The situation on the real estate market is becoming increasingly tense, particularly due to the growing number of qualified professionals from abroad. If you know from the outset that an apartment in Leipzig will only be one of many stops on the way, there are numerous advantages to temporary living. This applies to various groups of people.

Expats, project workers, fitters and other mobile workers

Flexibility is what is most frequently expected of mobile workers. Unfortunately, the traditional housing market in Leipzig and throughout Germany is not structured in such a way that it meets the associated needs of mobile workers. However, furnished temporary housing offers mobile employees such as fitters, temporary workers, project workers and expats exactly the conditions they need: Short, fixed-term rental contracts with clearly defined start and end dates. In addition, a large selection of 1-, 2- or 3-room apartments in Leipzig and the surrounding area.

Trainees and students

For trainees, finding a small 1-room apartment in Leipzig can quickly become difficult. The same applies to students looking for an hourly apartment in Leipzig. Temporary living offers an alternative that allows more flexibility and time: from the furnished apartment in Leipzig, trainees and students can look for a permanent rental apartment at their leisure.

Leipzig locals in different life situations

Do you already have an apartment in Leipzig, but it is about to be extensively renovated? Or are you facing family changes that require you to move out of your rented apartment in Leipzig for a limited period of time? In these cases too, temporary living is an ideal solution - here you can find a furnished apartment in Leipzig at short notice, for a limited period and at transparent costs, where you can feel at home for the next few weeks or months.

2-room apartment in Leipzig: Which furnished apartments does Leipzig offer?

Due to the high demand, the supply of rental apartments in Leipzig on the traditional real estate market is currently very limited. However, the situation is different for temporary living in Leipzig: Interested parties can choose from a wide range of rental apartments. From small 1-room apartments to 2- or 3-room apartments in Leipzig, there are many properties available. And you are also free to decide on the living space: Do you prefer a cozy 60 square meters or do you want a spacious rental apartment with 90 square meters or more? In our range you will find many available properties that suit you and your requirements.

Important: In contrast to traditional rental apartments, landlords often impose restrictions on the maximum number of people for temporary accommodation in Leipzig. You will find information on this in the detailed property description. There you will also find information on whether or not pets are allowed in the respective apartment in Leipzig.

Rent a furnished apartment in Leipzig: What facilities do the apartments have?

Every apartment in Leipzig that you can rent through us is fully equipped with everything you need for living. This includes electrical appliances such as televisions, ovens, fridges, etc. as well as a range of furniture from sofas to beds. With regard to the furnishing style, we recommend that you take a look at the photos of the property. These are all checked and verified by us or taken directly by our team on site in the apartment in Leipzig. Please note: Extra costs may apply for some furnishings, such as a garage or WiFi.
